Your team faces too many conflicts and has undefined roles?
You see a lack of focus and goal orientation but many resultless discussions?
There is need to talk but your jour fixe is too short and not the right place.
Sounds like a good time for a teambuilding.

Teambuildings do never have an off the shelf design. So the start is always
a thorough briefing with the teamleader and maybe a dedicated person from
the broader leadership. This is often a good moment for them to reflect the
situation and to come to deeper insights. Next step could be the involvement
of the team or parts of it via e-mail or telephone interview.
Now you are prepared for the teambuilding session itself. Session is ideally
in an external location and includes at least one overnight stay.
A structured debriefing with teamleader, leadership representative and me
a few days after the session is a good way to wrap up this effort.

What is not meant here?
Some call social meetings and outdoor trainings teambuildings too. That´s not
what is meant above. Same with self experience only like “hot chair sessions”.
